Stampin’ Up! Balloon Builders

Yippee!!  It’s Monday Blog Hop Day.  We’re up to number 75 with our weekly hops, can you believe it!  This week is another theme week, and I’ve set to Up In The Air.  I’ve used Stampin’ Up! Balloon Builders set.

I love the watercolour texture in the balloons in this stamp set.  There is a matching balloon punch for the two main images, but sadly mine is on backorder, they should be back in stock on the 14th March.

Recreate the Card

Take a piece of Watermelon Wonder card 10.5cm x 26cm and fold it in half.  Run the card front through the Big Shot with the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder.

Cut two strips of that every so sparkly Glitter Tape (only available for another 3.5weeks) and place them down the sides of the card front.

Stamp and Cut out (or punch if you have it) 5 of the larger balloons from the Stampin’ Up! Balloon Builders Set, on Whisper White Card using Watermelon Wonder ink. Arrange and glue down on the card front.  Stamp on your balloon strings with Black Ink.

From the Stampin’ Up! Number Of Years stamp set, stamp the two banners in Black, and Birthday and TH in Watermelon Wonder.  Cut these out with the Big Shot and matching Large Numbers Die.  While you’re there, cut out the number you need for the Birthday recipient from Glimmer Paper

Adhere the Birthday banner to the card front.  Staple the TH banner to the number.  Use Dimensionals to pop up your number.

All that sparkle makes for a fun card.  An easy card which would look great in so many colour schemes.
