Fabulous Flowers
Here’s another of my favourite Stampin’ Up! stamp sets, Fabulous Flowers – also soon to be retired.
The image of this card was done by inking up the large flower in Shadow, inking up the flourish image from Baroque Motifs with Close to Cocoa. Then firmly press the two inked stamps together, and stamp the flower image onto your card. Â This technique is also known as Kissing!
I almost pulled out the pinks and greens again for this one, but then thought blues. Â Whilst looking for some nice blues I found a piece of Sage Shadow in my scraps that had already been sponged with Chocolate Chip, so it was time to use it. Â I love Sage Shadow and Chocolate Chip together, very minty!
The sketch is based on one from the 2008/09 Idea Book & Catalogue and is also a challenge for the Elite Challenges site.
