Ultimate Pink Blog Hop

Welcome to the first ever Ultimate Pink Blog Hop – a collection of ideas from Stampin’ UP! demonstrators all over the globe featuring shades of pink in honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Many of us who are joining in on this Blog Hop are doing so because it’s something close to our hearts. For me, it’s my mum. Mum was diagnosed with a very rapid and aggressive form of Breast Cancer when she was 36 years old. She did go into remission twice, once after the breast cancer, and then again after it had moved to her lungs. Unfortunately at the age of 44, it was basically everywhere including her brain, and she passed away in 2000. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure you are doing self checks and are going to the Dr if anything feels abnormal.
Okay, so onto my card. Mum’s name is Robin after the bird, so here’s my take on a Robin, and I’m always thinking of her.

Of course being a Pink theme, I’ve used pinks over reds 🙂 The pinks I’ve chosen are Flirty Flamingo and Rose Red (my favourite shade of pink).

I think if Mum were here now, she would be an amazing stamper and card maker. She was a very crafty lady 🙂
To continue to be inspired, all participants are listed to help you as you journey among us being filled with pink inspiration.

Your card is gorgeous and a precious tribute to your mom. Thanks for sharing your story with transparency and your creativity.
