More Stampin’ Up! Business Questions
I’ve spent the day at the hairdressers, well it felt like the whole day – 11.30am till nearly 3pm getting a colour put in ready for Convention. Â So this means I have no new creations to show. Â I did however cut out a heap of Eastern Bloom Flowers ready for a card, so stay tuned for that one.
Instead of a card, I thought I’d answer a few more questions 🙂

I was going to become a SU demo last year but once I read the fine details, I wasn’t so sure especialy about the 3monthly target. I would only be a hobbyist and selling within our tiny craft group. Is the monthly target the same for everyone no matter what you join for?
Thanks
Yes the monthly targets are the same for everyone. Â I really find the easiest way to look at the targets is to break them down into monthly targets. Â It doesnt look overwhelming then.

April 18th, 2009 at 10:34 pm   editHi Alisa
I’d like to know about the ’secret squirrel’ side of the business!
What information and ideas/resources are provided by Stampin’ Up (& yourself) on an ongoing basis? Are there newsletters? Technique & project instructions etc?
Thanks in advance.
The information provided by Stampin’ Up! is amazing. Â Once you become a demonstrator, you have access to the Stampin’ Up! Website. Â It is full of information relating to not only business but craft as well. Â Each month we have new projects provided for us, plus demonstrator samples, templates, etc that we can use. Â There is also a forum on the Demo site to discuss topics with other demonstrators. Â We also receive a monthly newsletter in the mail from Stampin’ Up! with more business topics and projects (I’ll be in next months newsletter). Â Hands on training is also available in the form of Regionals, and the big Convention which is happening next week! Â 🙂
As for what is provided by myself, I have a forum available to my team. Â I also send out monthly newsletters, hold competitions and have card samples in that.
Â
I hope this helps you a little, dont forget if you’d like to receive the Demo Brochure, I’m happy to email a copy to you. Â You can email me at alisacraig@westnet.com.au

Alisa – do we get to see the gorgeous new hair colour? – all those flowers equals a lot of time at the hairdresser. I love the ‘me’ time while getting my hair done! (and the flowers look very effective on the card!)
cheers, Jo
I hope everyone attending Convention have a wonderful time, and come back full of new ideas and information for us all.
I joined too late this year to attend, but maybe next year I will be able to go.
Have fun!
