Stampin' Up! Pop of Paradise

Every quarter Stampin’ Up! sends us a magazine called Stampin’ Success. This magazine is full of card samples, business ideas and articles from other demonstrators around the world. One particular card in our current magazine caught my eye. It was a CASE idea, and that’s exactly what I did! This card uses Stampin’ Up! Pop of Paradise and has a great sponging technique.

Both the leaves and the Flamingo have first been inked up, stamped off onto scrap paper, then a deeper colour sponged over parts of the stamp. It results in a little more depth and character to the images.

Fussy cutting may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it certainly makes a bigger impact than just cutting around the shape. Sometimes it worth it to spend the extra time to do this.
