Goodbye Paisleys and Posies

It’s time to start saying goodbye to some of our stamp sets. Today we’re saying Goodbye Paisleys and Posies.

Here’s a cute little square notecard that I sent out to customers back in February.

The card size is 10 x 10cm, so you’ll need to start with a base of Pool Party that measures 10 x 20cm. I’ve stamped one of the small circle images from the set in the bottom left hand corner, and top right hand corner.

On a piece of 6.5 x 6.5cm Shimmery Card, I’ve placed down a wash of Pool Party Ink. Using my Stamparatus, I stamped the sentiment over the wash. Stamp the flower in Berry Burst and the Leaf in Lemon Lime Twist. Grab your Aquapainter and paint over the top. The Ink will bleed and spread a little. Next, in the lid of your Berry Burst, make a watery puddle, pick up the watery ink, and flick it onto the card. Take a piece of Berry Burst Ribbon and cut it longwise (so it’s half the width) and tie it around the bottom section of your card.

Adhere your Shimmery Card to a piece of Berry Burst 7 x 7cm card. Use dimesionals to adhere this panel to the card base.
