Stampin' Up! Country Home

Often when a stamp set is part of a suite with matching designer series paper, we (or maybe just me) tend to stick to the colours that are featured in the paper. I’ve made a couple of cards with Country Home, and this is exactly what has happened.

In this card, I’ve broken free of the purples and yellows in the paper!

I’ve coloured the milk can and flowers with Stampin’ Blends, such a great image to colour. The colours for the can are Lovely Lipstick Dark and Light, and Flirty Flamingo Dark and Light. I’ve added in Call me Clover and Shaded Spruce for the leaves.

A tip for the Corrugated Embossing folder – spritz your cardstock lightly before running through the big shot. The first time I ran it through, my card cracked drastically and fell apart. The little bit of water helps soften the fibres instead of having them torn.
