A Touch of Ink Sale a Bration Card
A few days ago I mentioned a Team Challenge Day that I held over last weekend. Our second challenge was a Colour Combo. The Combo I set was Misty Moonlight, Rococo Rose, Old Olive and Crushed Curry.
I chose to use the A Touch of Ink stamp set which is a Level 2 Sale a Bration Set.
I was running behind in my challenges by this time, as I was also ferrying my son to work, so I kept my card fairly simple.
The background is just scraps of card cut at weird shapes, stamped tone on tone with the little background stamp.
The butterfly was first stamped in Misty Moonlight. For the wings, I inked up part of the two step solid image with Crushed Curry, then Rococo Rose. Where the two colours meet, I dabbed a sponge over the line to soften it. Huff on your stamp to ‘rewet’ the ink with your breath before stamping onto card.
I finished my card with a little White Twine and some Opal Rounds.
