Alaska Achievers Blog Hop

Hey everyone, and welcome to those who may not have seen my blog before!  This month I’m hopping along with the Alaska Achievers Blog Hop group.  My family and I are beyond excited to going on this cruise in July.  I get giddy thinking about it!

This month the theme is the Share What You Love Suite.  As you know there are 3 great bundles on offer this month.  Sort of gives you a taste of what demonstrators get to experience, by being able to access product early.  And did you know that you can grab any of the bundles in your starter kit.  The biggest bundle is just over $222, and the starter kit is $169.  In the starter kit, you can choose $235 worth of product, you could get the biggest bundle and a little more!  The join my team link is located at the bottom of the post if you’d like to know more.

For my card, I’ve actually cased myself, from a few years back.

Share What You Love Bundle

I’ve stared by stamping the flowers onto Watercolour Paper with Archival Ink.  I’ve coloured the flowers with Sweet Sugarplum and Rich Razzleberry.  Around the flowers I coloured with Crumb Cake and Soft Suede, sponged around the edges with Soft Suede.

Next I’ve layered onto two of the beautiful DSP pieces, a crumb cake and the stripes I love so much. This year I’m determined to use more of my DSP (see my article I Cut the Paper from back in 2016).  I tied some of the super fine cotton from the Embelishment Kit around the panel, and mounted it to a Rich Razzleberry card base.  Finished off with loads of the little coloured pearls.  They really are too cute.

I hope you’ve liked my offering, here’s the list of everyone playing along with the hop, make sure you check them out for more great inspiration.

  1. WOW Alisa! Those flowers absolutely POP off the page! Love your card! I also love your name, my youngest daughter is named Alisa too! There are lots of Alyssa’s and Alisha’s, but not as many Alisa’s!

    1. Thanks Carol. I must admit, I get a little excited when I see another Alisa LOL, there’s more around than there use to be, or maybe that’s just Facebook bringing us all together.
