Always & Forever Ensemble from MDS

This week my MIL put in an order for a wedding card for her Japanese friends who are visiting for only one night.  They have just recently been married, so my MIL just wanted anything 🙂

EEK!  I don’t actually have any wedding stamp sets, so I turned to My Digital Studio, because I knew I had downloaded the Always & Forever Invitation and Ensemble, and I love the flowers in the kit.  There is also a matching Stamp Set called Bouquet Toss on pg 64 of the Annual Catalogue.

I designed the front panel in MDS and then just printed it out and coloured it in with Blendabilities.  I went for bright and happy, using Melon Mambo, and a string of Rhinestones coloured with the mid tone Blendabilities, and kept the layout clean and simple.  The top panel was layered onto Whisper White, and then mounted onto a Whisper White card base.

Happil Ever After

Sadly we also had some sad news on the weekend with the Death of the Lutheran Pastor, who was also the Pastor of the school my children go to.  I also made this card into a Sympathy Card for the special lady in his life by changing the sentiment in MDS and using Cherry Cobbler for a richer feel and tone.  Instead of Rhinestones, I used Pearls coloured with the darkest Blendabilities

With Sympathy

If you don’t have the stamp sets you’re after, don’t forget to check out My Digital Studio.  If you haven’t had a look at it yet, you can download a FREE 30 Day Trial.  It’s easy enough to use, and the Digital stamps and kits are inexpensive to purchase, and you have them forever.

You can find My Digital Studio in my ONLINE STORE

Cheers for now

Alisa xx
