Artfully Asian

It’s been so long since I’ve done some ‘real’ sponging on my cards.  By real, I mean sponging every piece of layering card.  I really like the warmth it gives to a card.

Card Recipe:

Stamp Set: Artfully Asian, Sanded Background

Card: Bravo Burgundy, Always Artichoke, Mellow Moss, Whisper White

Ink: Bravo Burgundy, Always Artichoke, Basic Black

Accessories:  Blender Pen, Sponges, Mellow Moss Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimensionals.

Yesterday was my little man’s 7th Birthday, so tomorrow I’ll upload the card I whipped up for him.  That is when my batteries in the camera recharge.  Why is it that when you want the camera the most, the batteries go flat?  Like at the birthday party!  Grrrrr

  1. I love your cards Alisa. I especially love the sponging effect (may have to pop the sponges in the next months stamp by mail order?) It is nice to see cards made with stamps we can purchase rather than by hostess gifts which I can’t get (am so jealous!). Have all of those colours so will try and do something similar with another stamp set. tfs 🙂

  2. Awesome card and awesome sponging! You’ve honed that skill to an art and I’m soooo inspired. Thank you so much for sharing.

  3. Wow Alisa, absolutely perfect. I’ve not even touched Bravo Burgandy and now I think I might need to play!

  4. Wow! This card has impact! The colours, stamps and accessories seem made for each other! The sponging looks fantastic too! A fantastic card! Well done Alisa!
