Blossoms Abound – Give Away

Yippee, NEW stamps from the NEW catalogue.  I LURVE being a demo, because not only are they new stamps but they were FREE stamps, infact I got 6 FREE stamps  🙂  I need a drooling smiling there.

This one was actually a little tricky to stamp up, and a Stampamajig is a definate must when stamping this.  This twig is stamped 1st generation in Mellow Moss, line up the leaves (2 separate stamps) with the jig and stamp 2nd generation in Mellow Moss.  Next I used Apricot Appeal for the bottom blossom and Ruby Red for the top blossom.  The Floral Background stamp is used on the card base.

I do think this set will become a favourite of mine.

ETA:  I’ve often wondered where you all live.  Leave a message here in this post telling me where you live, I’ll draw a name, and send you this card.  I’ll close postings a week from now, that will make it the 19th April.

  1. A chance at a Tilsner original?! Pick me! Pick me! Though after reading the other comments (almost) local Perth, West Australia isn’t anywhere as exotic as Germany, N. America or UK.

I hadn’t really considered this set before….but now you got me thinking…

  2. I love that card! The colours are so tangy that you can almost taste it. I finally took the plunge and have registered here because I keep coming back to see your beautiful work. I’m in the Southern Tablelands of NSW.

I am in awe of your cardmanship (is that a word?!) and check in with your site every day to see what you’ve come up with next! I also took your advice & bought the stamp organizer off ebay which is great ~ thanks for the tip.

  8. Sorry didn’t read your post fully – obviously! I am from Cooma NSW. I too love the way you put together the colours. Did you use apricot appeal on the card base?

  9. Hi Alisa

I live in Adelaide and have become a card maker since being invited to a Stampin Up party 6 months ago. I found your site early on and I visit each day. I LOVE your cards and in particular the way you use colour.

This is also a first in that I have not left a comment any where before. It’s a totally new world discovering card making on the net! I don’t even know what ‘lol’ means!

    Thanks for your inspiration.

  10. Oooooh, I love this card, I love the colors, I have this set and have always used it tone on tone, but it looks great with such vibrant colors.
I’m in the UK by the way!

  11. Beautiful card as always Alisa!! Love the colors you chose – may have to CASE this one!! (and in honesty, after you’ve played with it for a while it’s not too hard without the SAMJ)

As you know, I’m browsing in from Germany, formerly California!
