Broome Incentive Trip

* Less than 1% of all demonstrators earn the incentive trip each year.

Beware, there will be loads of photo’s.  And I thought we didn’t take that many!  Hmmm (I’ll make them smaller so it doesn’t look like such a long post, if you click on them they become slightly larger.)

So our trip started out Tuesday night with a stop over in Adelaide, then to Perth and onto Broome just before Lunch.  After being settled into our room we caught up with Angela Sargeant and her hubby, and joined them later that afternoon to watch the sun set (it sets well before 6pm and rises just after 5am).

We then joined all the other demonstrators and staff for our welcome dinner.  My camera wasn’t being very happy in the candlelight, but here’s a one taken on my phone of the centre piece.

The next morning (Thursday) is was rise and shine early, like 5.30am early.  Did I mention the sun rises just after 5am?? So we decided to be good and get up for a long walk along Cable Beach, trying out the new features on the phone.

Thursday was free time until the late afternoon, so we spent the day with the Sargeants checking out Broome Town Centre and having lunch at Matso’s Brewery.  I can’t believe there are so many Pearl shops in Broome, hubby did offer.

Now I couldn’t stop taking photos for our group activity so, I’ll just add them without much chatter.  After getting comfortable, I took heaps, and facebooked them while riding the camel!!

After our sunset camel trek, came time to Swap and Snack, I’ll show you my swap creation a little later in another post, but here was our Snacks.

Friday was a day to ourselves again, hubby and I headed into town again to check out the Museum, I would have been quite happy to spend an hour there, but he gets so absorbed by it all and we were there for nearly the whole 3 hours of opening time.

While we were there, we learned about Sun Pictures which is the oldest outdoor picture theatre in Australia.  After the Museum we caught a cab into the town again (hubby asked again if I’d like a pearl) we got dropped off outside Sun Pictures where there happened to be a man working there on the electricals, who told us to just go in and look around.  AMAZING Place.  Loads of photo’s again.

That day we also headed over the Pearl Luggers where we’d been the day before so hubby could take photo’s of the old boats, being a boat guy!.

Saturday we headed in to the Local Markets where we met a BeeKeeper and spent just a little while (insert long time) chatting to him, caught the bus home in the arvo and got ready to head out for out final dinner.

Our final destination was back at the Pearl Lugger, but was set up a little differently this time!  It was such a beautiful warm still night, perfect for watching a movie on the sails after dinner.

Also, another great time to say thank you to all my customers and fabulous team members who along the way contribute to me earning these trips.

And more excitement, the Monday before we left for Broome, I qualified for the trip to Utah next July 🙂
