CASEING the Catty 143
Welcome to another CASEing the Catty Sunday Blog Hop. This week we are Caseing pages 132 – 181.
I’ve chosen to recreate the Lovely as a Tree card on page 137.
I’ve kept the manly feel, perhaps made it a bit more grungy than the original card. I’ve also kept the watercoloured background technique. Two colours this week, being Linc n Learn cards, and because now I’ve got cards to give my hubby and my dad.
I finally broke out One Wild Ride and inked it up – woohoo! The first card is Smoky Slate, Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry and Basic Gray
The second is Smoky Slate, Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Basic Gray.
Now because I’ve used Watercolour Paper for my focal image, the motorbike hasn’t stamped with all the detail due to the texuture of the paper. I think it works okay tho, and adds to the grungy feel I was trying to go for.

Great CASE !! And my favourite is the Bermuda Bay…. always!! Love the dreamy feel of the images and the watercolour background. Very Cool.
They both look great and so different from the original and layout – love the rich texture of the coloured panels behind the focal panel-artfully casual! What great masculine cards. So glad your blog is back and running smoothly again
