Casing the new Annual Catalogue
Isn’t funny how seeing an older stamp in a new sample makes you want to pull it out again? This was the case with the High Tide Stamp Set. I spotted a card in the new Annual Catalogue (goes live on the 4th June) and had to make it for Linc n Learn.
I did change it up slightly, I used a different Sentiment in the set and cut that panel a little shorter than it should have been, but hey no one would know right?
Now the colour of the card stock is Granite Gray and the ink used is Smoky Slate (according to Stampin’ Up!). I thought that it weird, but I trusted them, and I think it looks great! I am using an older Brick embossing folder, but we have an awesome looking 3D Distressed Brick Embossing Folder coming, it’ll be in my order for sure.
Then of course, being Linc n Learn I thought I would take some extra colours and sponge up a different colour. The above card is Pool Party and Bermuda Bay. Below is Crushed Curry and Mango Melody.
