Spruced Up Christmas Card with Coloured Embossing
Hi Friends! For today’s Live Card Making Stream, I had the brilliant idea to do a little Embossing Technique RIGHT before the stream was to start! Like with less than a minute to go! So, I’m going to teach you how to do Coloured Heat Embossing – it’s super easy!
Today’s card features the Stampin’ Up! Spruced Up Bundle.
Coloured Heat Embossing
- Using a Stamparatus, line up your stamp on Basic White card, close the plate on the stamparatus so that the stamp sticks to the plate.
- Ink up your image in the colour of your choice and stamp on Basic White Card. Leave the stamp on the plate and give it a quick clean and dry.
- Ink up your image again, but this time with Versamark.
- Restamp directly over the coloured image.
- Sprinkle over Clear Embossing Powder, shake off the excess and funnel it back into the container.
- Melt the powder with your Heat Tool.
- Admire your shiny coloured image!
At Stampin’ Up! we have a gazillion (well 50) colours that can all be embossed with this technique. I have plenty more Embossing Techniques you might like to try after this one.
