Competition Time!
I found some 6×6 Designer Print Papers from the last Idea Book & Catalogue in my cupboards, which I thought would make a great prize for a little competition. Â If you win, you’ll receive a 6×6 sheet of each of the 6 patterns of all the colours from last’s year range.Â
All you have to do is ask me a question about the Stampin’ Up! Business. Â Â
Easy!
Now you need to ask your questions in this post. Â I’ll randomly draw a name next Saturday 25th who will be the winner of the papers. Â I’ll then answer all your questions in a post in the following week.
The competition is only open to Australian Residents, and cannot be demonstrators already.

Hi Alisa
Love the new catalogue…my wish list is on huge.
My business question is If you sign up as a business demonstrator is it a requirement to recruit downlines into your business, and how do the downlines assist your business to grow.
Regards Lee
HI Alisa,
I know only a small circle of people who are interested in papercraft. Who would be interested in a workshop about once every three months. So my question is how can you set about expanding your business so you can meet the quarterly targets.
Kim
Hi Alisa
I was wondering if you are able to customise your demonstrations. For example, would you ever do a presentation at a teenage girls birthday party where the focus may be more on creating cards than buying product?
Thanks
Tina
Hi Alisa
I love doing cardmaking with my mum. How old do I have to be to become a Stampin Up demonstrator?
I love looking at the ideas at your website!
Thanks
Hi Alisa
How do you initially get yourself óut there’? What are the best ways for a new demonstrator to let the community know they are available? How do you continue to add new customers to your business?
Thanks (and I love your blog!)
Hi Alisa, just wondering if the sales targets are the same for hobbyist demos & full time demos? If you sign up as a hobbyist is it easy enough to change your ‘status’ to part-time/full-time demo along the way? Did you sign up as full-time from the start or work your way up? Oooops, That’s 3 questions!
Thanks for taking time to answer all of our SU Q’s.
Hi Alisa,
I am a bit worried that I will not be artistic enough to be a demonstrator even though I come from a long line of artistic folk, is there a training process in place to guide me along? because I am blown away by some of the beautiful work I see on the websites, will I make the grade!!!!!!!
Regards Rene
Since you said you do this full time, can you give some pointers on this
Thanks
Do you have a minimum order and do you have a maxamim order in a certain period
Hi Alisa,
I was wondering do the demonstrators that are doing quite well with their business have any input to the Australian SU catalogues at all?
Thanks.
Hi Alisa
As a SU demonstrator do you receive any commission from the sales of your downlines? if so, how does this work.
Thanks
Hi Alisa,
Just wondering, do you get paid an actual commission pay cheque periodically (with customers payments for items going straight to Stampin Up), or do you pay for the products (wholesale) up front and recoup your money plus profit when customers pay for the products? I know different Direct sales companies work in different ways.
Tanja
Hi Alisa
I’d like to know about the ‘secret squirrel’ side of the business!
What information and ideas/resources are provided by Stampin’ Up (& yourself) on an ongoing basis? Are there newsletters? Technique & project instructions etc?
Thanks in advance.
Hi Alisa,
I was going to become a SU demo last year but once I read the fine details, I wasn’t so sure especialy about the 3monthly target. I would only be a hobbyist and selling within our tiny craft group. Is the monthly target the same for everyone no matter what you join for?
Thanks
Hi Alisa,
This has prompted me to ask a question that I have been thinking of for some time now……Are you able to sign up as a ‘hobbyist’ to get the benefit of buying the product at demo price without having to do parties etc., if so what is the requirement for minimum sales etc.?
Thankyou
Hi Alisa. My Q is this……I am torn very much at the moment as to whether I should become a Demo or not. A couple of things like the time factor and the expected sales targets worry me. Could you please shed some light on what is actually expected of a SU demo. Thanks
