Crayon Resist Technique
I attended a Stamping and Scrapbooking Fair this month as a stall holder for Stampin’ Up!. On the table I placed the magazine that I had been published in which showed Crayon Resist, it generated alot of interest, so I thought I would put another card with the same technique here.

On Gloss card stock i’ve stamped the clock face from Stampin’ Up! set Artifacts with chocolate chip ink. Then I’ve used a white crayon to draw highlights onto the face. Next i sponged Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie ink onto the the image. The crayon will resist the ink, leaving any area’s where the crayon is white.
I’ve then layered onto Chocolate Chip card, Pumpkin Pie, then Old Olive. The Pumpkin Pie layer has been sponged with Chocolate Chip Ink and stamped with the speckle stamp from Itty Bitty Backgrounds Set. For the background layer I’ve stamped the Clock Face with Pumpkin Pie Ink onto Pumpkin Pie Card, sponged with Chocolate Chip Ink and stamped edges with Speckle Stamp. A few brads and some ribbon, then layer everything onto Old Olive folded card. This card is 5″ x 5″
