Last few days of Blended Seasons

Hey Everyone!! We’re down to our last few days of Blended Seasons. This bundle will only be available until the 31st August. The new release of pencils ‘may’ or may not be in a future publication, so if you love pencils and colouring, you may like to grab them too.

This card was inspired by a non Stampin’ Up! card on Pinterest. Part of the image was colouring in grey scale, and the rest in colour.

I’m thinking that I should have had a little more of the grey scale, and looking at my card now, it would have been easy for me to run the coloured panel through the Big Shot again with a smaller frame. oh well. I’ll have to think quicker next time!

Instead of embossing my sentiment onto Black Card, I decided to tone it down slightly and use a dark Grey instead.

For the colouring, I’ve used pencils from both packs. I started by colouring first with a light colour then wash it out with the Aquapainter. I allowed that first colour to dry, then went back over in some areas with a darker pencil, and again blended with the Aquapainter.
