ETA: Â It’s not finished yet, the banner will be my nice bright pink banner, and there will be a big spot for rotating cards. Â Just need to work out how to do that. Â But if I change back to my old look, its a mess with the widgets all over the place!

first off…it is your blog…design it as you wish. but you asked…so i will be honest with you. i am not a fan of the “compressed” entries at all. i used to love jen del muros blog…she changed her format to something similar to this and i bearely ever even check her blog out.

I thought the old one was better too, set out really well and the black is so dark and not bright like your work. You only recently update it and it was so effective. I really don’t like advertising on blogs either and too don’t understand the Church theme.
Hmmm, I thought the old one was more “you” but perhaps it’s just getting used to something new….
I’m not sure about the black … Can you have less of it?
On the plus side, it will accentuate any bright colours you’re using from this year’s catalogue.

I agree, thought I was in the wrong place. I like the look of it all except the dark colour. But I am sure when you are finished it will be good no matter what you end up deciding on.

as I said today I love the look … nice clean theme .. if you dont want it so dark you can change the background image too … I love BG’s themes!
I liked the old one, alot easier to navigate.
I loved the way it looked before, I am thinking the black is too dark for a blog.
Alisa,back after being away for almost two weeks – thought I was in the wrong spot! Looks great – black is a lovely ‘colour’ – and will go with whatever other colour/s you wish to add. With your talent and instincts, it will look fantastic, whatever you decide, cheers, Jo
