Nup, not really sure on this one.
Just following a Colour Challenge from Keesh today. Â Blue Bayou, Ruby Red, Chocolate Chip and Very Vanilla.
I’ve been working on some cards for a new magazine called Papercraft Essentials, where I made up some of my own background paper. Â So I decided to have a bit more of a play with this, but I dont think the darker colours work too well???
Card Recipe:
Stamps: Sanded Background, Bronc Busters
Ink: Black Stazon, Ruby Red, Blue Bayou, Chocolate Chip
Card: Ruby Red, Blue Bayou, Very Vanilla, Watercolour
Other: Sponges, Colour Spritzer, Aquapainter, Antique Brads (from Hodgepodge kit), Hemp Twine, 1″ Chocolate Chip Ribbon, Dimensionals.
So YAY or NAY??

I really love the colours of this card, it is really my sort of card.
The background is fantastic.
I might have to agree with Jo though, the ribbon seems the
wrong colour for the rest of the card, or maybe it’s the white stitch in the ribbon that seems so stark. Saying that cards and colours look so much different in real life.
Like I say the background is stunning, I love it!

The background is wonderful; the colour combination works perfectly – very rich, vibrant and dramatic.
I love it ….. it has such a warm glow to it.
The background looks awesome. Adds alot of warmth to the card. I was thinking you must have been inspired by the fires down your way.
