One Layer, Ink Blended, Hey Birthday Chick Card
One Layer, Ink Blended, Hey Birthday Chick Card
Hi Stamping Friends! Today I have a one layer, ink blended, Hey Birthday Chick card for you!
I had no idea where this card was going to take me today. I had started with my Hey Birthday Chick image which I coloured with Stampin’ Blends. I then sat there and just looked at it for the longest time!! I knew I wanted Ink Blending and that I wanted it to be clean. Sometimes I look through Pinterest for inspiration, but today I looked at Instagram. There’s usually loads of gorgeous ink blending on there. One that caught my eye had stripes.
Not having a stencil to use, I decided to create my own. I took a piece of Thick Basic White and cut 5 x 1cm rectangles that were half a cm apart. The Paper Trimmer worked a treat to do the cutting. Then I just used some of our Clever Clasps embellishments to clip my stencil to my card front. I was able to Ink Blend from Granny Apple Green into Crushed Curry very easily.

My Chicken has been coloured with Mango Melody and So Saffron Blends, I also added just a touch of the Light Cinnamon Cider Blends along the underside of the Chicken Belly. I also coloured my Rhinestones with the Poppy Parade Dark Blends to match the colouring in my Chick.
The Chicken is raised with Dimensionals, other than that, there is no other card stock on my card!
Below is a list of all the products used in my card.
