Ornate Style Birthday Card
Some more colouring for me today, it helps me get lost in my own world instead of the one that’s out there. Today I made an Ornate Style Birthday Card, as in Ornate Style the new stamp set coming out!

The card I kept simple, the colouring – not so simple! I stamped Saddle Brown Stazon onto our Fluid Watercolour Paper and just played. I put colours together that I normally wouldn’t to see what I’d end up with. Here’s a breakdown of each:
- Leaves – Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Garden Green
- Pink Flowers – Petal Pink, Caylpso Coral, Cherry Cobbler
- Blue Flowers – Seaside Spray, Night of Navy
- Yellow Flowers – So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede

Close up to show you it’s not perfect, but I don’t care. I was over an hour of blissful colouring while watching Netflix. I figure now is the perfect time to spend practicing my colouring.
I’ll come back with a video soon to show you how I coloured it, so you can spend some time colouring with me too.

Cheers for now – Alisa
