OSAT Blog Hop – Dog Days of Summer

Welcome to the One Stamp at a Time Blog Hop!!  This month our theme is Dog Days of Summer!   I have to admit, I did struggle with the theme. It feels like our Winter is dragging on, and I’m hanging out for Summer!

I’ve tried to interpret the theme the best way I can.  I love long balmy Summer evenings when it’s right on dusk, and the birds are still singing happily.    What best stamp set to use?  Best Birds of course 🙂

Rose Red and Crushed Curry with the Sunburst image behind the bird remind me of Summer nights.

For my 3D item I’ve gone with a Glassine Bag and Insert following the same theme as the card.

The birds really are quite enjoyable to colour.  I’ve stamped them Shimmery Card and coloured with Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Early Espresso , Blushing Bride and Rose Red.  The branch is the same neutrals plus Wild Wasabi and Garden Green.
