OSAT Blog Hop – May Flowers
Welcome to this month’s One Stamp at A Time Blog Hop. This month the theme is Flowers.
I have used a couple of Hostess Set that are on the retiring list – Best Thoughts and Happy Birthday Everyone. I’ve also gone for a fairly Clean and Simple style this month.
My base is Thick Whisper White. I’ve stamped the flower in Archival Black onto Shimmery Paper, then watercoloured with Mint Macaron, Emerald Envy and Flirty Flamingo inks.
I’ve placed a strip of Flirty Flamingo card along the edge of the Shimmery Paper to tie in with the colours in the flower. Embossed the sentiment onto Basic Black card with White Embossing Powder. A sprinkle of Rhinestones, and I’m done.
For my 3D item, I’ve used the same image and theme as the card but created a quick tag to go on a Take Out Box. I’ve used some Flirty Flamingo Card to make a belly band, then wrapped some Mint Macaron Lace Ribbon around it.
Next on our Blog Hop is Andrea to show us her amazing projects.
