Retro Fresh Birthday
I was asked to make a Retro Birthday Card recently – eeeeeek!! I don’t own any retro crafting goods. THANK GOODNESS for MDS huh?
Using MDS I downloaded the Retro Fresh Digital DSP, created a couple of big photo boxes, and simply dragged the DSP pattern that I wanted into the Photo Boxes. I then saved the page as a JPG, and printed it out on Very Vanilla Cardstock. – Instant Paper when you’re in a bind.
I’ve also used MDS and my e-cutter to create the name. I’ve gone into my ecutter program and merged the Alphabet Soup Punches from MDS to create and cut out the letters.
No sponging, no bling, simple layout (Mojo Sketch), and I think I’ve succeeded with the retro look.
