Simple Jar of Love Card
Hey Everyone! Following on from the card yesterday, I threw some extra card into my Linc n Learn bag so we could make a really quick and simple Stampin’ Up! Jar of Love card once we’d finished the Z Cards.
I’d seen a card that I really liked on Pinterest, but silly me forgot to pin it, and do you think I could find it again?? It wasn’t a card made with Stampin’ Up! product, but I thought I could recreate it using our products. So I had to go on memory, I don’t think it’s anything like I saw. But that’s good in a way right? Now it’s my card 😉
If you had a stash of flowers already stamped and cut out, this would be a super super quick card.
I started with a piece of Thick Whisper White Card as the base measuring 105 x 260mm. I then took a piece of Flirty Flamingo Card that was 105mm wide. I measured 70mm down the right hand edge and 110mm down the left hand edge and cut across, which gave me the diagonal. I then embossed the piece with the Petal Burst Embossing Folder.
Adhere that directly to the card front. Along the edge arrange and adhere your selection of flowers and leaves. Stamp your sentiment on the white area of the card front. I’ve used Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo, Pool Party and Bermuda Bay Inks.
You can’t see this in the photo, but the Flirty Flamingo areas of the flowers have been painted with Wink of Stella Clear. The shimmer in that brush can turn simple cards into WOW cards!
