Stampin’ Up! Falling Flowers

Hey Stamping Friends!  Do we have a  treat for you!  You’ve probably all heard of Sam Donald and her Pootlers right?   My team The Artful Stampers and the Pootlers have joined forces for a super fun Blog Hop full of inspiration just for you.

We have an open theme, so you’ll have oodles and oodles of different cards to check out.

It has been quite some time since I pulled out Falling Flowers, I’d never stamped and coloured the images either.  I’ve always stamped them onto coloured card and used them that way.  Being that this is a special hop, time to pull the big guns and do a fully loaded card!

I’ve started with a card base in Rose Red, the finished size is 10.5cm x 13cm.  This size doesn’t give such a rectangle shape, and is more like the US size card, but will still fit into our C6 envelopes.

I’ve layered on a piece of the Fabulous Foil Acetate, with the silver side up.  Next is another layer of Rose Red, and a strip of Bermuda Bay.  Circles of Silver Glimmer paper form the base for the Falling Flowers Spray.  The inks I’ve used for colouring are Flirty Flamingo, Rose Red, Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry.

The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments and is small enough to not take away from the floral arrangement.
