Stampin' Up! Hello You Thinlits

Generally on a Tuesday night, I’m thinking of ideas of what we can create a Linc n Learn Wednesday morning. I usually get some great ideas from Pinterest. This weeks cards were based on a colourful Scrapbook Layout I found. In the background was a gorgeous rainbow of coloured circles. I thought it would be a little too much to have the full spectrum of colours on one card, so I split it into two cards.

We started by sponging colour onto an A5 sheet of Whisper White. The first colours were Melon Mambo, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach and Crushed Curry. The second lot of colours were Cucumber Crush, Emerald Envy, Bermuda Bay and Island Indigo. I have photos of the sponged cards over on my FaceBook page.

Next we punched out circles ranging in sizes and kept them in that spectrum, so it was a gradual change of colour. We took an extra piece of Whisper White card, and used Dimensionals to adhere them, cutting off the edges.

This was then mounted on a piece of Thick Whisper White card. We used the Stampin’ Up! Hello You Thinlits to cut out Hello, and a small Heart Punch finished with a Rhinestone.
