Stampin’ Up! Birthday Blooms

Welcome Welcome to the August Colour Your World Blog Hop where Demonstrators from all over the world have come together to inspire you.

Here’s our Colour Challenge for the month.

I knew straight away it was to be a flower set, so I pulled out Birthday Blooms and my Aquapainter.

I started off by stamping the flower with Stazon onto Shimmery Card and painted with all the colours in the challenge.  Shimmery card give such a smooth blend when colouring.

The card came together pretty quickly after I’d prepared my flower.  A strip of DSP Stack down the left hand side, and 2 of the Circles from the Circle Framelits (now retired).  It’s the first time I’ve used the Enamel Shapes, and I have to say I love them.

Here you can see how smooth the blend is with the three colours.  Pink Pirouette, Sweet Sugarplum and a touch of Rich Razzleberry.
