Stampin’ Up! Detailed Santa

Hi Everyone!  I’ve made up some really quick and easy shaker cards using the Stampin’ Up! Detailed Santa Stamp Set and Thinlit Die Bundle.

I’ve started with using Thick Whisper White for my base.  Then I’ve taken a piece of Cherry Cobbler, the same size as the card front, and cut out the Detailed Santa from it.  I then embossed Merry Christmas from the matching Greetings from Santa Stamp Set in gold.

Cut a piece of Window Sheet that is big enough to cover the area that Santa is in, and adhere it to the back of the card.  I’ve used the new Dimensionals Strips to outline the area around Santa, enclosing him completely.  Add some extra pieces of the dimensionals to the bottom of the card so that it sits flat when adhered to the card base.

I’ve then stamped Ho ho ho onto the card front.  Carefully place some of the Mica Flakes onto the card front in the area that Santa will sit.  Removing the backing on the dimensional strips, and adhere the card to the card front, over the mica flakes.

I used the White Mica Flakes, there is also Gold and Green in the pack.  I prepped two cards at the same time, so here’s one in Emerald Envy too 🙂

Fun to create and fun to receive!  Who doesn’t love a shaker card?
