Create Stunning Color Combos with The Colour Companion AI Tool

How to Get It: It’s completely free when you subscribe to my newsletter. All you need is a free ChatGPT account, and you’re ready to start playing.
Putting The Colour Companion to the Test
For my latest card, I uploaded a screenshot of the Everyday You & Me stamp set and asked the Colour Companion to suggest a colour combo. Here’s what it gave me:
- Petal Pink – A soft, delicate pink for a warm, loving vibe.
- Misty Moonlight – A tranquil blue for depth and elegance.
- Gold Foil – A metallic touch to add shimmer and sophistication.
How fun is that?! It even explained why these colours work well together for a romantic and uplifting theme. I couldn’t wait to dive in and create!
Cardmaking Time!
Using these colours, I designed a soft, romantic card featuring the Everyday You & Me stamp set, gold embossing, and some lovely textured elements. Here’s how it all came together:
- Embossing Magic: I used the Distressed Tile embossing folder for a touch of texture on my background.
- Floral Focal Point: I stamped and die cut the beautiful roses from the stamp set, layering them with some gold-embossed leaves.
- Extra Details: To add some depth, I used foam adhesive to lift my sentiment panel and included delicate twine loops for added texture.
- Finishing Touches: A few antique pearls brought everything together with a vintage flair!
The final result? A gorgeous, elegant card that could easily be used for Valentine’s Day, anniversaries, or just a heartfelt message to a loved one.
