Stampin’ Up! Father Christmas

Hi Everyone, welcome to the Colour Your World Blog Hop with Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the World. This month I’m playing with the Stampin’ Up! Father Christmas Stamp Set.
Here’s the colour palette we’re playing with this month.

I did use all the colours, plus I added a little Garden Green and Smoky Slate. Father Christmas’ robe is actually coloured first with Melon Mambo and then deepened with Cherry Cobbler and Chocolate Chip.

It’s a fairly straight forward card. The size is 10.5 cm square, with layers of Crushed Curry and Dapper Denim. The Cherry Cobbler layer has been embossed with Softy Falling Embossing Folder. I can’t believe it took me so long to buy that folder, but now I have it, it gets used LOADS!
A little bit of White Bakers Twine and a new Jingle Bell finished my card off.
Patsy Waggoner is next on our list, so hop on over and check out her cards, they are always stunning!

Love the layout of your card, always so impressed with your work Alisa
Love this card and how you incorporated the Melon Mambo on his robe before adding the darker colours – what a great idea! Your watercolouring is amazing!
Great card Alisa – I love the colouring on Santa! I am still really tempted to get this set..
