Colour INKspiration Challenge 178
Hey all!! I missed our last CI Challenge but I’m back to join in on Challenge 178. I’ve used the new Stampin Up Happy Hibiscus Bundle which has a Hybrid Embossing Folder included with it. If you’re looking for it, it’s in the Online Exclusives Section.

Here’s my entry with a few extra photos of how I created the flowers.

On Basic White card, I dripped a little of the reinker into the lids of the inkpads. You could also just place the ink on a block, or even your glass mat if you wish. I’ve mixed a little water using a larger sized paint brush and pounced it on the card. Fill an area that is big enough to take all 3 Flowers, and then areas for as many Leaves as you’d like.
If you us a smaller brush, you’ll have more detail in your pounced ink area.

You can allow the card to dry naturally, or if you’re wanting to get this card made straight away, hit it with your Heat Tool. I’ve dried from both the front and the back of the card. Then, once dry, simple white (or black even) emboss your images.

To add a little interest to the Soft Sea Foam Pattern Paper, I flicked a little watery Old Olive Ink onto it, and applied some ink around the edges with a Blending Brush.
