Stampin’ Up! Honey Bee Bundle from the Mini Catalogue
Hey everyone, today I’ve created a card using the Stampin’ Up! Honey Bee Bundle. I’m getting back into my regular routine after my Hubby has been home, and we’ve been working in our yard (means more card making for me now)
I’ve gone back to one of my trusty card layouts. I LOVE heavy colourful sponged or ink blended backgrounds, with a strip of paper down the side.

For this card, I used a makeup blending brush (bought from Kmart) starting with Calypso Coral moving down into Mango Melody. I then splattered some water from my Aqua Painter over it and let it dry. I also blended some ink on some scrap white, and stamped my Bees on it, cutting them out with the matching dies. The strip of black and white paper down the side is from the coordinating Golden Honey DSP which is a Freebie Level 1 in the SAB Brochure.

And how cute are those little flower sequins? They’re from the Peaceful Poppies Suite, I think they are a must have as they go with everything! Wink of Stella is painted on the Bees, but you can’t see it in the photos. I can never get the right angle for Stella to shine in photos!

And…. if you’re wondering why the Stampin’ Up! Honey Bee Bundle was the very first on my wish list, check out THIS POST – I can’t believe it was so many years ago now. Those little boys are now young men!
I always forget to say, but during SAB months is a really good time to join Stampin’ Up!. We get so many benefits and get to either save money on our supplies, or make money. They choice is yours. I’d love to welcome you to our little SU team 🙂
Cheers for now – Alisa
