Stampin’ Up! Large Numbers

Happy Monday!!  That means it’s time for another Blog Hop from The Artful Stampers gals.  This week is a sketch, I’m using the Stampin’ Up! Large Numbers Thinlits because I needed a Birthday card for my eldest son!

Yep 15 years ago, 5 weeks early I became a Mum for the first time.   At this  moment in time (morning), I was being prepped for the Royal Flying Doctors to come pick up us.  I’d already been in labour for 2 days, but being that he was early and breach, I had to go to Adelaide for his birth.

Anyway, enough of that, here’s his card 😉

Red is his favourite colour, so I had to include that.  Sadly I’m lacking in boy stamps, those teenage male cards are a tricky one.  I had my all my pieces of card ready to stick down, but it the card was still looking a little plain.  As I was putting the Number of Years Stamp Set away, Kinda Electric sort of called out to me, I’m so glad it did.  It added that little something extra I needed.

Check out that sparkle!  I also added some Wink of Stella on the sunburst image behind the 15 too.  I’m usually too lazy or behind in work to make the boys cards, so hopefully he’ll like this one.
