Colour Your World Blog Hop
Hi Friends!
Welcome to this Months Colour Your World International Blog Hop!
Are you a bit like me and like to change up your Christmas colours? I’m not one for real traditional greens and reds, in fact I’m not sure these days that there are traditional colours.
Leaving my card creation to last minute as usual, I decided to step away from the flowers (which is what I was planning on doing) and pull out my Angel from the Wonder of Christmas Stamp Set. I really do love her!
First up tho, here is the palette we are working with this month.
Do you see Christmas Colours there? Hmm maybe not. I couldn’t really see the colours working together either! BUT…..
Aww, she’s so pretty and angelic 🙂
She’s been stamped on Watercolour Paper. Her dress is coloured with Pink Pirouette and a light touch of Rich Razzleberry. The banner she’s holding is Perfect Plum and Elegant Eggplant, and her hair is Peekaboo Peach. I’ve added some Blush Blossom (do you still have that colour?) for her skin, and some Soft Sky and Wink of Stella for her wings.
The Starburst behind her is from the Kinda Eclectic Stamp Set and is stamped tone on tone with Peekaboo Peach. The card base is Rich Razzleberry with Stars stamped in matching ink. I did try Elegant Eggplant as a card base, but it was just too dull, the Razzleberry really brightened her up.
I am thinking however that the ribbon may be a little too heavy for the card, and that some White Bakers Twine might be the go. I might have to change that out. What are your thoughts?
Okay, so there’s my Christmas card in very non Christmas colours, lets hop on over to the next blog 🙂

You might try smaller white ribbon….but still my favorite of all this month’s cards
Beautiful Alisa! Your colouring and layouts on cards are always so good! Love the starburst image behind her too – a great extra touch!
I love this little angel so much – just a gorgeous card. I love the Ruched ribbon.
As always your cards are amazing Alisa great use of the color palette. Hugs Patsy
Well done with the colours, the card is lovely but I think I would change the ribbon.
Cheers
