Stampin’ Up! Vivid Vases

Welcome to another Around the World Challenges Blog Hop!  This month we are taking a look at items on the Retiring List.  I’m playing with the  Stampin’ Up! Vivid Vases Stamp Set, along with a few other retiring items.

Now I have to admit that I sort of stuffed up and thought that we were posting at 5.30PM only to discover that it was 5.30AM, hence the very simple card so I could get it photographed with decent lighting.

My card is an odd shape too, it’s more tall and skinny.  I wanted the Vivid Vases to fill more of the card, so I cut the width to match the stamped image.

The colours I’ve used are Lost Lagoon (Retiring), Rose Red and Crushed Curry.  The other retiring items on my card is the Everyday Chic Washi Tape, and the Enamel Dots from the Occasions Catalogue.

Here’s a close up of the watercolouring, done on Shimmery White Paper. (I’m playing with a macro lens to see how I like it – might be a present to myself in lieu of the Incentive Trip!)

Items are still selling out on the Retiring List.  If they aren’t in the Online Store, then they’re gone.
