UStamp – University of Stamping

About 4 weeks ago, Dawn Rapsas (a US Demo) approached me and asked if I would be interested in joining herself, Heather Summers (a Canadian Demo), and other Demo’s from around the world in something BIG.  Of course this intrigued me and I just had to say Yes.

So here it is, I’m proud to announce that I’ve been selected (by Heather and Dawn) to represent Australia in U Stamp

Taken from Heathers’ Blog:

What do I need to take this class?

All you need to take this class with us is paper, a paper cutter, adhesive and stamps.  You do not have to use the same supplies we use to create your projects!  It’ll be fun to showcase new tools and stamps but it is not necessary for you to be successful to use all of the same supplies.

Are all the projects scrapbooking?

NO!!!  For any of you that follow our blogs you know we LOVE packages and cards and 3D items and scrapbooking and……  There will be a huge variety of projects!

Can you summarize what you mean by 10 classes?

I will redescribe the class to you and hopefully summarize it more clearly.  For $20, you will receive our first ever exclusive UStamp Class.  Included in this class will be a minimum of 10 projects!!!!  Each project will be a collection of items, for example 5 cards and a box could be one project.  All projects will include step by step photos, dimensions and instructions.

Now Heather and Dawn are offering a Kit to purchase, which cannot be purchased by Aussies… BUT I will be offering my own Kit shortly, when my projects are organised.

I’m really looking forward to working with Heather and Dawn, I hope you’ll join in all the fun too.

You can sign up for U Stamp at , if you’ve found U Stamp via my blog, remember to put me down as your referal 🙂

I knew I’d forget something (thanks Gabbie) – I’ll be presenting 2 projects 🙂

  8. This sounds great – I’m a new demo and not much of stamper before that but figured if I was going to spend all the $ buying the product I should join the business and get the sales credit and rewards for doing so. I would love to try this out – sounds like a great way to get more experienced in stamping and learn new techniques!

  9. Hi Alisa, I LOVE your stuff!! I’ve been stalking your site for a little while now & am very inspired by all of your work-it even sent me over to aussiescrapbooking to try out the BAL’s, FUN! 11. This sounds very interesting. My only concern is what if I have to order the stamp? Will the projects be using the new stamps from the Fall/Winter catalogue or will some be from previous catalogues?

  12. Oohhh how exciting. I’ve already downloaded the free PDF & it looks great. Can’t wait to check out your classes too – I’m sure they will be fantastic 🙂

  20. Congratulations Alisa for being chosen to contribute in this amazing new concept. It sounds so exciting – I had stopped stamping for a while with various other committments but this has really inspired me to get back into it. Would love the opportunity to participate in the classes!!

  21. Wow Alisa, this sounds absolutely fantastic! Good on you for getting involved. Since I’ve been scrapbooking, I’ve done the majority of my classes online and now that I’m a single Mum and a S/Up demo, this suits me to be able to learn at home in the comfort of my own home. So I’d thoroughly enjoy doing this sort of thing especially when you’re given the PDF files to work on in your own time. Plus the bonus of being able to connect up with people all over the world is great! Off to check this site out.

  22. Hi Alisa
I have just finished the Got Sketch 101 challenges. Unfortunately, I only had time to post 1 sketch … but totally enjoyed all the ideas & downloaded all the sketch layouts! I am so keen to have some ideas for my classes that I have only just started! This sounds fantastic! Are you going to be suggesting Australian alternatives for the projects done with US products??? I can’t wait to see the Australian Kit. Will the details be available before the “early bird” rego is due? Is that too many questions at one time? 🙂 Stampin’ Hugs, Andrea
PS I love reading your posts on Angela’s site!

  23. This is a fantastic idea and I can’t wait for it to start. Being at home with small children means I find it hard to get out to classes but now I can sit down, learn and be inspired whenever I get a quiet moment. How wonderful to have teachers from all over the world!

  24. This great idea has really caught my attention! I’ve started to build up a nice little stash of “Stampin Up” goodies. I really need some inspiration to get me moving and make the best use of it all. I find that by doing classes/workshops, I really get motivated and am a lot more productive. The fact that you are involved in this Alisa, makes it even more appealing!!

  25. Thanks for sharing, “USTAMP” I am registering after this, so if I am drawn, I would love for you to give it to my upline Melanie Wiseman (known as Kim) and shall let others know too about your exciting venture.

  26. I think this is a wonderful idea. I can dream up my own ideas but it takes me forever sometimes. To have the means to come up with something quickly would be great for me. LOL There are days when I am more than 10% blonde. “duh”
